i was sat on the cliff at Brownstown head watching them through the binoculars ...... i was gutted to see it... 3 half deckers and 2 large trawlers.....
the biggest one was landing some load of fish... and knowing the area well it was prob mostly small juvenile stock....

Re: Tramore beach

what kinda fishing where they doing ,what type of fish?
its not bad enough that these fisheman have have cleaned out all the outshore reefs and marks now there in the bays and up the rivers as far as belview trawling killing all the juv fish, what are these fishermen going to do when they finally fxxk it up so bad there nothing left, its all take take take with them.
the lobster men have a system set up putting back females making sure there will be lobsters there for the future.there was a 16lb cod taken in a net inside youghal estuary last week.

im going to give tramore beach a go this evening to use up some bait.
