Anglers: Me n Tim & then me all by my lonesome

Tide: 2.5 hours rising for the first session and an hour around the bottom for the second

Tackle: Plugs n soft plastics

Results: Bass and pollock

Hey all, haven't been posting much of late as i have been busy blanking Embarassed Any way two lure fishing sessions to report from last thursday and today. Me n tim went to a mark on the inoming tide last thursday evening. The session started slowly with no fish for about an hour and a half untill there was a roar from tim and plenty of thrashing about in the water in front of him. I raced up the beech to get a look at tims first lure caught bass and a fine fish of about 4-4.5lbs. It took us and age to get the trebles out and in my wisdom i said i'd try and revive the fish a bit before we got a few photos. As soon as i put the fish in the water it kicked wildly and was away. No photo or weigh in for tims second ever bass, i'm sure i was lucky to leave the beach alive. We had a few pollack after that, obviously tim with the biggest scratch

I had a quick session this evening to try out some new gear. I picked up some soft plastics to see what all the fuss is about. I was fishing for only an hour spending most of my time unwrapping line off the reel shaft and i still managed four fish. I had two pollack and two bass the biggest being about 2.5lbs and a small schoolie. Best pluggin session i've had in a long time and my first bass in about two months (Not for lack of trying). Sorry about the picture quality i only had my phone and it was gettin dark
