Tramore 17/07/09
Anglers: Me n Gelly
Location: Tramore
Rigs: Feathers
Duration: bout 2.5 hours ddown to the bottom of the tide
Result: plenty of mack, pollack n a grey gurnard
Meself n gelly headed out on the kayaks from newtown cove yesterday for a bit of mackerel bashin. Smashin evening to be out, flat calm in front of the cliffs with the wind blowing from the west. Things were lookin bleak for a while untill we got beyond the metal man where there was any amount of mackerel n few small pollack too. Tried a bit of bait fishing back inside the bay but the rig kept gettin tangled up and fairly soon it was time to head fer home
