Nice one. Have not had a dogfish in a long time... they seem to be scarce around here since they started netting for them...
As for Barry... he would fish 5 rods if he had a tripod big enough... Very Happy

dont need to fish five rods only one and i dont even have to put bait on hooks to catch fish...ha ha.yeah its bad the way the doggies are gone along the coast of waterford not so long ago we where trying to avoid them now we are going out targeting them and blanking?????still seem to be a good few up the east coast lets hope the dont have same problems we do.its a sin to kill a box of dogfish for 10 euro.!!!!

Hello Pat.... long time....
Ive not done much in the way of fishing for a while but am getting back to it now... would be good to catch up and get a session in at the same time...
Whats this about a new baby? Are your fishing days at their end. lol

Hard to know with the closed season. I was thinking the same but think it would be better to do away with it all together and introduce a lower and upper limit on the size that you can take.... All a bit futile with the amount of them taken in nets :-(

Yea i think in kerry the bass are def after spawning when i see photos of the bass around the east coast they all look in good condition i wonder is it different times different places will try again next weekend going to waterville fri pat
