Might be an idea in the new year when the weather is better to get a group together on some beach in the Waterford area at low tide? I'll get the lads to come down for a day of lessons to anyone interested in the club?

casting

Post by kingo on Sat Jan 24, 2009 1:43 pm

Hi Barry, I would be interested in giving a hand if you get a group together, would it be only for the rinnashark members or would it be open to anyone who wished to improve there cast. If it was to take off it might be better to have one class for seniors and one for Juniors, so if I can be of any help please let me know and pm me of details of time and venue. Kingo

Hello men, great to see an Interest in the casting, the club in Dublin won't be starting until March when the weather gets better but once it does we will defo do a day in Waterford for anyone interested.

I'll keep everyone posted on possible dates that suit everyone here, also just to let you know the fishing show in Dublin on the 14-15th of Feb will have 3 lads who are all top casters and will be happy to help anyone who shows up. Rods and reels can be brought if you wantto use your own gear.

Hope to see ye there.

Cheers.

You need to get your priorities straight Barry.....
Forget about the wedding...... go casting....
Just don't tell her I said that
lol

I will check with Keith and look at our fixtures and see if I can get something together.
Could do with it myself.

Now that the evenings are getting a bit longer can we get this "OFF THE GROUND" so to speak. I feel from talking to lads there is an opportuninty for a meet with somone who can give some of us a few pointers on improving our casting.
