Post by barry on Mon 29 Sep - 21:59

well done to kevin ryan this years winner of the rinnashark boat master angler it was a close one came down to the last two competitoins last sunday.morning session winners 1st tom o mahoney 2nd kevin ryan 3rd gary broxton evening comp winners 1st jim mc cartan 2nd kevin ryan 3rd myself.

this was the first year we ran a boat competition and it went fairly well good bit of organising and weather did not help.hope everyone enjoyed it and if there is intrest it can go ahead next year.only one thing is there would have to be names and full money up front as people dropping left the expence on the club.any one with any other ideas about it please let us know as this year was a learning curve we can have a chat at the agm.

i would like to thank angus for all his help this year it was great and the other skippers for the days out.

Well done to all who took part and to the winners. Angus must get a lot of praise for getting the boat section off the ground as well as Barry who took responsibility for organising the events. There were lots of issues that arose which pevented a free flow of competitions, but in the end he managed to get them all in. If there is still an interest next season I'm sure he will be only too happy to make the arrangements. I think he also learned a few lessons on human nature which he found valuable.
