i am going to fish the lady slip in the morning i know i have to fish it out but any more info ( Straight out or along the wall how far should i cast ) or any thing else i should know

lady slip always good for a cast, and its always a bonus to fish out of the boot of you car. As you say straight out not far 40 yards max.
if the tide is right you can rest you rod on the railings. Crab lug mac all good. crab best.

I would try fish it into dark or in the dark for best results

got it on mackerel on the rising tide down to left of slip few people out in front of slip when I got there.

No i didnt catch any bass and conductions were perfect.you would not get pollock there really maybe odd one is all.

bass rock fish well 2hrs each side of lw.....but always weedy and chances of losing gear. a few schoolie saturday morning:)

You sure it was not aflounder neve seen a dab caught off the beach.thats surprizing heard there was a few bass going you think between five rods there be a few fish showing.

it might be a flounder but where i was it looked like a dab not a sign of bass i was on Crab & sand chap next to me was using rag and mac strips but the weed was terrible
