Woodstown Beach

Post by MichaelC on Tue Dec 14, 2010 7:58 am

Lads, any ideas/theories as to whats happening to the left side of Woodstown beach, all sand silt and mud gone, old timbers showing similar to Creaden beach. Have the oyster beds acted as a breakwater/diversion for the placement of these deposits, also would these act as a barrier to incoming feeding fish?

yeah seems to be getting worse the last few years even hard to drive down with all the boulders. the rest of the beach ant effected tho is it? the oyster beds are running the whole length of the beach why is not effecting the rest of the beach?but i would say the oyster beds is having some effect on it.

have not been fishing it much lately but there still seems to be fish even tho prob smaller then would of been before.
