Is this a good deal??

Post by jonnyj on Sun Sep 05, 2010 11:03 am

Hi all,

I always get good tips here and so im thinking of upgrading my spinning rod to a beach caster for beach fishing. I have been searching for a bargain and found this one:
http://fishingmegastore.com/-full-monty-beach-combo~6258.html
Before I purchase I would appreciate your opinions. It is a beach fishing combo comming with everything I should need and at a hugely discounted price. I know the price will increase a good bit for delivery but I still feel I would save a lot of money that if I was to get it here.

Any comments, is the rod/reel any good.

Thanks
Jonnyj

it is a good deal and you get a lot for it ,but do you need all that stuff or just a rod and reel? if you do need it its great deal.

Have a look at the individual costs on the site, see exactly what you need and then see is it worth it, the beachcasters look too cheap to me.

Ya i would use all the stuff id say. I need a good tripod any way, weights - sure im always loosing them, rigs too. The chair id use for the camping. Line & shockline id use too. Bag for lugging all the stuff down the rocks at portally Smile

Sharky the beachcaster seems too cheap? Is atlas a good make? The deal is cut down from £214 to £89 maybe they just want to clear old stock.

If you think you need the gear then for £89.99 that is as good as your gonna do. Everything you need to get started and more.
