Kilfarrasy Cove, Waterford

Post by jonnyj on Tue 20 Jul - 22:52

Hi All,
A few of us are going fishing in Kilfarrasy cove, waterford tomorrow night. I was wondering which bait would you consider to be the best Ragworm or lugworm. I dont want to waste time digging the two if only one will work best. We will be fishing for Bass and anything else we can catch.

Thanks.

We went down to Kilfarrasy last night 8 12. Caught 3 codling and a dog fish by just using lugworm. My best session so far. The tide was on its way in so maybe it helped.

nice one were the codling any size? yeah rising tide best there and in genral rising tide is best but every venue is differant.even tho you can get help off people the best way is to get out and fish differant tides you soon get to find what part of the tide they feed on.tide plays a huge part in fishing fish dont feed al the time even boat fishing the tide make a big differance.
