hi jessica sorry only saw your post there now, passage car ferry is a great slip can be a bit busy on the weekend.dunmore not bad slip early in the morningf good deep water turning a bit thight tho and then there is plenty of dopes out there Smile.tramore is very good spot but on very bottom of tide you would not launch the quicksilver other then that its grand and not to busy.
did you do any fishing?how did you get on?fishing is graet at the moment had a good day sat and last wed myself.

yeh the ferry driver is very accomodating too and spoke to us and said to call him on vhf and he would slow up coming back over if we had any difficulty!! will try goin in from dunmore next time or maybe kilmore quay, when we got down the esturary from passage it was quite rough n bumpy so we thought it best not to try cross it but im guessing if we had got across it would have been alot calmer further out, but the skipper/other half was quite hungover & called it a day before we got started so im pretty mad over that!!! haha cos i love me fishin!!!! hopeful i will have a better fishing report soon and im fillin up the jameson bottle with tea so ive no more sick skippers!! haha fished off clare coast round cliffs of moher few weeks ago, was fantasic, loads a fish and very big pollack all round the cliffs. Any other tips about fishin hot spot round waterford/wexford would be very much appreciated!! We have rock fished round tramore etc... but never have much luck except for dog fish and spiney fish haha Any of ur friends up round mayo/sligo ever fishin send me a message and i can fill them in. thanks for the responses Smile
