Sorry flounder king i know you can beat most Snr. anglers but it is your birthday age on the 1st jan that counts only one more year but you could be in Galway by then leaving this year give it the same effort you give your fishing and any thing is possible.

Hi Greg, Look at the Juvenile section on this site and you will get a list of all the upcoming comps. good to see you are logged on and using the site, catching fish just comes down to a little patience and practice, you will learn as you go along and now that you are in a club you will pick up what you need. But remember the fish have to be there before you can catch them. Declan

i did them out at passage,
go out at low water onto the mussel beds[where the orange mast is]
it wont take you long to fill your bucket
check ur tide tables and keep a watch for the water coming in behind as the beds are raised, as far as digging goes there all over the mussel beds so you wont have any bother getting them you cant see casts like lug so just pick a spot and dig away

yeah bob is right you wont get rag in woodstown only lug but be very carefull with the tides any where along that part of the river it flys in make sure your digging up high tide and once it starts pushing head away to be safe.

just walk onto the middle of the mussel beds there everywhere, when you find a spot with a good just keep diggin around that area, it should only take you 30 mins to get more than enough for yourself, you dont have to dig to deep for them, just the lenght of the fork,,
